The latest forecast suggests areas across the Cambs’ could experience sleet in the early hours of the morning and throughout the day. Using the weather forecast from BBC Weather here is an hour by hour weather forecast for what the weather is expected to be like across Cambridgeshire on the two days when there is expected snow (Saturday 10 and Monday 12 December). Despite reports that the snow might start earlier on in the week on Thursday 8, BBC Weather is reporting that the snowy conditions won’t begin until Saturday 10. The sleet conditions are also expected to continue into the week beginning Monday 12 December with Wednesday, Thursday and Friday seeing sleet in Ely but not in Cambridge. There is no forecast for snow or sleet in Cambridge or Ely on Sunday 11 December. However, there is sleet forecast in Peterborough at 5pm before returning to light rain showers and a gentle breeze.
