The party is for homeless individuals who are vulnerable and need support. The second campaign is Homeless Aid’s Christmas Toy Appeal. This is the annual mission to gift presents to children who will go without a Christmas present without donations. The charity is now looking for community support to donate cash for presents, £15 will guarantee one child a Christmas present. The organisation will also support the elderly who have no family or they have been affected by the cost of living crisis. Billa Ahmed, Co-founder of Homeless Aid UK and his team work hard each year to run the three campaigns, he said: “At Christmas time many of our homeless friends don’t have families or their families don’t speak to them, so we want to show that we are there for them and that we care. “We have many people come who say they can’t remember the last time they had been given a present, so we want to make those people feel really important and let them know that the team care about them. “Homelessness is not just for Christmas it is all year round and it’s very important we support them. “At Christmas the suicide rate is up, and to prevent this all it takes is someone showing them they care, it’s really important.
