Founded in October 2021, the Food Integrity Assurance (FIA) remit is to provide independent certification and verification services to support the Scottish food sector. Having secured two major contracts with Quality Meat Scotland (QMS) and Scottish Quality Crops (SQC), the new service is off to a flying start and serving 13,000 farmers. There are good reasons for such accelerated growth.
